Construction Management

About Us
Hi, I’m Steven Minarick, founder and president of UpTilt Construction Management. With over 20 years in wireless telecommunications and site development, I’ve built my career around delivering projects the right way—through precision, accountability, and genuine partnership.
Site development isn’t just my career—it’s part of who I am. I come from a family with deep roots in the trades, and some of my earliest memories involve being on job sites with my dad—spending weekends installing CAT 5 cable and learning how things get built from the ground up. By my early teens, I was working alongside my uncle on rooftops across New York City, opening and closing cable trays for telecom crews. What started as family weekend work quickly grew into a passion. By my late teens, I was managing crews, and by my early 20s, I had stepped into a supervisory role—setting the stage for a lifelong career in the industry.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve held leadership roles with some of the nation’s largest wireless companies, including Boost Mobile, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Ericsson. In that time, I’ve led site development programs with budgets exceeding $100 million, managed large cross-functional teams, and overseen complex network expansion initiatives across the Northeast. Those experiences reinforced the importance of process, communication, and trust—values that are now at the core of how UpTilt operates.
I’m a New York metro native, now proud to call Glen Ridge, New Jersey home, where I live with my wife Katie and our young son John. When I’m not working with clients or visiting project sites, you’ll usually find me restoring our early 1900s home, spending time with family, or on the golf course trying to improve my short game.
